DDC AWARDS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551248901552{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Window Rock, Arizona – Immediate Release – In December of 2018, Diné Development Corporation (DDC) recognized three subsidiary employees who recently celebrated their ten-year work anniversaries.  The employees recognized include Rachel Cross (DDC IT Services), Ron Plesz (NOVA Corporation), and Stephen Martonosi (NOVA Corporation) were all honored at the DDC Holiday Dinner and Awards Program, held on December 20th, 2018 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In recognition of their commitment  to the organization, Austin Tsosie, DDC CEO, and Ron Wood, Chairman of DDC Board of Directors, presented Rachel Cross with a Navajo squash blossom and Ron Plesz and Stephen Martonosi with Navajo bolo ties.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551248916710{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]“Our ten-year anniversary awardees remained dedicated to the organization and committed to their respective companies’ valued customers through the years. Each recipient contributed their strengths to carry out our collective and respective company missions, and in turn, we at DDC say, ‘Ahéhee’ (thank you), on behalf of the Navajo Nation.” – Austin Tsosie, CEO[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551248935115{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Within DDC IT Services, Rachel Cross serves as the DISA and Army Portfolio Director.  Prior to fulfilling this role, Rachel started her career in 2008 with NOVA Corporation as a Junior Program Manager, and transitioned to  DDC’s quality program initiatives. For eight years, she supported NOVA as a Configuration Manager on a Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) contract in Mechanicsburg, PA.  “When I look back at the past ten years, I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to grow and develop my career. I am proud of how much our organization has matured and glad to have been a part of that journey.” – Rachel Cross[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551248952945{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Ron Plesz works for NOVA Corporation as a Senior Communications Engineer. He started in 2007 as a Network Analyst and moved to Network Administrator in support of a  U.S. Army contract.  In 2012, he began serving as a Senior Network Engineer on a DISA contract.  “I appreciate everything the organization has done for the employees to maintain high morale,” It has been my pleasure to work for a great company that supports the Navajo Nation and the people within it.” – Ron Plesz[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551249114937{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Stephen Martonosi serves as a Senior Hardware Support Engineer for NOVA Corporation.  Since 2008, Stephen has supported NOVA as a Mainframe Hardware Engineer on a DISA contract in Mechanicsburg, PA.  One of the highlights of Steve’s career was meeting NOVA Corporation’s founder. “Learning about  her background and founding of the company left a lasting and positive impression that has resonated with me throughout my time with NOVA”  – Steve Martonosi[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1551249001011{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is wholly owned by the Navajo Nation government and was established to facilitate the Nation’s opportunities to conduct business through the creation of subsidiary corporations, joint ventures and partnerships.
