Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) DISANet Operations Support

NOVA’s largest prime contract to date involved managing DISANet, the Defense Information Systems Agency’s (DISA) global IT enterprise network. We ensured continuity of DISA’s full complement of IT services, which supported 12,000+ users at 52 CONUS and OCONUS locations. Our team supported tiers I-III help desk, network monitoring, server O&M, cyber security and IA; engineering; telephone and voice over internet protocol (VOIP); and video teleconference (VTC) services on a 24/7/365 basis. We supported more than 550 physical and virtual servers on three classification levels using nine principal tool suites to monitor worldwide operations.

We work closely with our federal customers to enhance the security posture of mission-critical networks. We achieve a dynamic, risk-based assurance posture that ensures security and continuity of the internal IT enterprise infrastructure and services against an evolving spectrum of threats.

In support of DISA, NOVA provides technical expertise to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive strategy to uphold DISA’s security posture. Our personnel provide real-time support to monitor, investigate, and mitigate issues for unapproved or illicit activities on DISA enterprise networks. Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Configuration Management Support Services

In support of Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Implementation and Sustainment Center (ISC), NOVA developed an enterprise-wide Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) framework based on ITIL Best Practices. NOVA was instrumental in establishing standardized processes for service asset and configuration management (SACM) and change management. Our critical implementations, including policies and governance, standardized SACM and change processes, established standard operating procedures (SOP), and provided DISA with ITSM-driven efficiencies.

In support of DISA, NOVA delivers expert software engineering support to the DISA Customer Management Division (CMD). NOVA personnel perform a range of engineering services to deliver customized, scalable solutions. Our team designs new business software solutions; performs software analysis for technical refresh initiatives; and supports software review boards. In addition, NOVA maintains CMD’s IT asset management database, provides technical consulting on software and architecture solutions, and develops evaluation specifications for software products.
