Window Rock, Arizona, For Immediate Release, September 15, 2022 -Diné Development Corporation (DDC) presented a $500,000 dividend to the Navajo Nation at the 74th Annual Navajo Nation Fair in Window Rock, AZ. The contribution designated $300,000 for the Navajo Nation General Fund and $200,000 for the Business and Industrial Development Fund (BIDF). The initiating dividend for calendar year 2022 follows a $300,000 dividend presentation in February.

The Navajo Nation Fair is the largest Native American fair and rodeo in the Southwest that promotes the preservation of the Navajo heritage through cultural enrichment. The event draws an average of 15,000 visitors to events, such as the Indian Rodeo, Pow Wow, Song and Dance, Miss Navajo Nation Competition, 4-H, and Agricultural Expo. This year’s 74th Navajo Nation Fair celebrated the theme, “Honoring our Frontline Workers.”
