Dayton, OH – September 13, 2024 – Diné Development Corporation (DDC), a Navajo Nation owned family of companies, announces that it has been selected as a 2024 Best Place to Work by Dayton Business Journal. As the fourth award of its kind received this year, the recognition underscores DDC’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, collaborative, rewarding workplace culture that empowers employees to thrive.
The Best Places to Work program honors top employers in Dayton Miami Valley that prioritize workplace culture, recruitment, and employee retention. The nomination was based on comprehensive employee feedback, which recognized DDC’s strengths across work engagement, team effectiveness, people practices, and leadership. DDC was recognized during an awards event on Thursday, September 12 at Sinclair Community College, joining 32 honorees across micro, small, medium, and large business categories.
“This award is a reflection of our dedication to cultivating a workplace that values our employees,” stated Jackie Goodwin, DDC Chief Operating Officer. “By fostering a supportive environment where employees are empowered to succeed, we continue to deliver exceptional solutions for our clients while also contributing to the prosperity of the Navajo Nation.”
The recognition builds on DDC’s strategic growth in the Dayton region, marked by the recent announcement of its new facility in Dayton’s Tech Town campus and commitment to bring 100 new jobs to the heart of the city. Scheduled to open in October, the new location reflects DDC’s investment in the community and dedication to regional economic development. Dedicated to the Navajo Code Talkers, the facility will serve as a hub of legacy-inspired innovation, delivering mission-critical solutions for defense, civilian, and healthcare clients in support of the Navajo Nation and its People.
