DDC Presents $400,000 Dividend to the Navajo Nation

Window Rock, Arizona –Immediate Release- Diné Development Corporation (DDC) recently presented an annual $400,000 dividend to the Navajo Nation.  The presentation is the result of a year-end dividend payment declared by the Members of the Board of Directors of DDC in accordance with DDC’s Articles of Incorporation.  The dividend directly benefited the Navajo Nation Office of the Controller which accepted a $240,000 dividend check that will benefit tribal programs and direct services. Additionally, on behalf of the Division of Economic Development, Executive Director JT Willie graciously accepted a $140,000 dividend check from DDC that will be added to the balance of funds to continue business development.

This is our fifth dividend since the fall of 2017 and is a testament of DDC’s charge to do its part in providing financial benefits to the Navajo Nation.” – Austin Tsosie, DDC CEO.  In addition to shareholder dividends, DDC provides value to its shareholders through an internal tribal development program, charitable contributions, tribal economic development, and community-oriented sponsorships.
