Dine 2018 leadership Summit

DINÉ DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION HOSTS LEADERSHIP SUMMIT FOR FAMILY OF SUBSIDIARIES

The event, held in late January 2018, in Frederick, Maryland. DDC, NOVA Corp., DDC IT Services, DDC 4C, BRIC, and Diné Source leadership gathered to share insights on strategies for 2018, program success and lessons learned, and a candid discussion on the importance of the DDC Vision, Mission and Core Values regarding the successful execution of the 2018 goals and objectives. The overarching theme for the summit was Inspire, Inform, and Motivate.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1546584378787{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Austin Tsosie, DDC CEO, stated, “My  hope is that  each of you embrace DDC’s strategic plans and other innovative efforts, in our pursuit of capturing great market positions, bottom line efficiency, transparency, and increased shareholder values for the Navajo (Diné) People.”  Summit participants  were infused with personal strategies by keynote speaker, Scott Welle, to “Outperform the Norm”.  Team members shared personal and professional motivations in team activities that helped to inspire others and renewed each participants’ passion for our common vision.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1546584402336{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is wholly owned by the Navajo Nation government and was established to facilitate the Nation’s opportunities to conduct business through the creation of subsidiary corporations, joint ventures and partnerships. DDC was formed in 2004 to help create new jobs, revenues and profits primarily through the participation in the U.S. Small Business Administration 8(a) Business Development program. The 8(a) Program was created to help small disadvantaged businesses compete in the American economy and access the federal procurement market.
