Diné Development Corporation Issues $300,000 Dividend to the Navajo Nation

Window Rock, Arizona, For Immediate Release, December 15, 2020 – Diné Development Corporation (DDC) provided a $300,000 dividend to the Navajo Nation based on the DDC Board of Directors’ dividend declaration in October 2020. The contribution designated $180,000 for the Navajo Nation General Fund and $120,000 for the Business and Industrial Development Fund (BIDF).

The dividend follows a $400,000 dividend contribution in July and a $500,000 donation to the Navajo Nation COVID-19 crisis relief fund in April. “DDC and family of companies are moved by our mission to deliver sustainable resources to the Navajo Nation. Our teams’ commitment and diligence afforded DDC the opportunity to provide $1.2M in total this year,” shared DDC CEO, Austin Tsosie. “My hope is that our seventh consistent payment reinvigorates the Navajo People’s hope for a brighter future. Like many others, we are honored to support and uplift the Navajo Nation through this challenging time. From our homes to yours, take care and Yá’át’ééh Késhmish dóó baa hózhóǫgo nihee ndádooghąh (Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in the Navajo language).”
